Yerba Matcha

Yerba Matcha

Fine powder of the whole leaf, micronized

The whole leaf, as a powder: the most modern form of an ancestral ritual from South America.

With chimarrão and tea, you drink the infusion. With Yerba Matcha, you take in the whole leaf, with all of its caffeine and polyphenols, just as the Guarani did when they pounded the toasted ka'a. Leaf from mature branches, a sapeco (a quick pass over the flame) at just the right time, and a fine grind: that's how the powder carries its ancestry, and not just its color. Whisk it with warm water, milk or a plant-based drink. It goes into smoothies, cakes, ice cream and the post-workout shake. With the price of Japanese tencha nearly tripled since 2025, coffee shops and beverage brands are looking for a green powder with flavor and history. This is ours: whoever drinks, joins the circle.

What this yerba mate does for you

Calm vitality

Plant composition

You take the first sip, and the vitality builds slowly and stays, without the spike and crash you get from coffee. It's the leaf's natural caffeine (about 70 to 80 mg per 150 ml cup) together with theobromine, the same substance found in cocoa. In the mate gourd, the cup or the latte, the effect is the same: a day with more presence.

Clarity for what matters

Plant composition

Studying, working, driving, talking with full attention: yerba mate is the companion of anyone who needs to stay present for hours. Caffeine helps with alertness and reaction time, which is why yerba mate sits on the table across half a continent.

The leaf's natural protection

Plant composition

Yerba mate leaf is naturally rich in polyphenols, especially chlorogenic acids, at levels comparable to green tea. These are the compounds that research links to protecting cells against oxidative stress. Leaf from a mature branch, like ours, holds more of them; in yerba mate matcha, you consume the whole leaf.
